Tidewater Basketry Guild

The Tidewater Basketry Guild is an organization founded for those with an interest in basketry. The guild has over 70 members from Virginia and throughout the country.

Our mission is:

To preserve standards of excellence in the design and workmanship of basketry.

To promote public awareness of basketry as a craft and an art.

To give guidance to weavers of all levels.

To establish a network for sharing topics of interest.

In doing these things we have tons of fun and learn so much about the art of basketry.
